Class News:
- 6th grade - Students continue explore drumming, vocal performance, recorders, and drama. Each class will be a jam packed session in creativity. Currently we are exploring more improv acting, music of the Renaissance, and playing multiple parts on recorders
- 7th/8th grade Music Exploration - Students will continue exploration of the eras of Classical music. In addition we are adding music reviews, Jazz, and Music & Movies. In or Music & Movies sections we will disect the relationship between what we hear and what we see on screen. Currently students are exhamining Western music from 1600-1750 C.E. Also, students are writing weekly song reviews, which consist of a few sentences of persuasion. The ultamate goal is for the best reviews from the class to make their way onto the web.
- 7th/8th grade Choir - Singers continue to work on music for the April 4th CPMSL Music Festival in Douglas, as well as our May 1st RenFest concert.

- December 13th, 7:00 p.m. – Winter Offerings
- April 4th, during school– CPMSL Festival
- May 1st, 7:00 p.m. – MS RenFest
