US Band
Our first performance is Sept. 3 (VFB at TIS), and students should be working on SSB, Alma Mater, Fight Song, Band Jamzz, and the four tunes I've passed out (Rock & Roll All Night, Play That Funky Music, Smoke on the Water, and Gonna Fly Now). We'll be working on those the rest of the week.
7th Band
All students in 7th Band need to have Essential Elements vol. 3 for their instrument ASAP, as we are using it in class every day. Students should be working on the four tunes in the folder (Glenwood March, Sound & Fury, I Want To Hold Your Hand), as we will be working on each this week.
6th Band
All students in 6th Band need to have Essential Elements vol. 1 (from last year), as we are finishing that book before moving on to Book 2 later this year. This week, we are focusing on #160-170, so students can be practicing that.
