History

Welcome, everyone, to Mr. Russell's Homework Page! I hope everything is in order, and of course, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

A few comments about the rest of the quarter: We are almost done! I can't believe that the year is going by so fast. Spring Break is almost on us, and before we know it, it'll be the end of year! As we move forward through the rest of the year, however, it is important to remember to stay on top of homework. Daily work is important in reinforcing classroom lectures, and students who do their daily work do much better on tests and quizzes than those who do not. Further, missing assignments can pile up very quickly, and even a few zeroes can weigh down an average for an entire quarter. Please stay on top of your homework!

The following is the schedule (at the end of business, 3/5) for the next two weeks. It is, as usual, subject to change (though not by much this time around).

The Chapter Four Flash Card Assignment is HERE. The Asia Country Project will be posted HERE on Thursday (3/8) morning.

The South Asia Culture Notes (Ch. 4, Sec. 1) are HERE. The Southeast Asia Culture Notes (Ch. 4, Sec. 2) are HERE. The Modern India Notes (Ch. 4, Sec. 3) are HERE. The Modern Pakistan (Ch. 4, Sec. 4) Notes are HERE. The Modern Vietnam (Ch. 4, Sec. 5) Notes are HERE.

Scholar's Bowl has come to an end after an exciting five weeks! I greatly enjoyed it, and I encourage all students to look into this fun activity next year! Also, I am back to my regular schedule of After School Company, which means I am again available after school every day until at least six o'clock.

Notes for After School Company: Please call my room phone (316-686-0152 ext. 232). This forwards directly to my personal cell phone. Also, there will be no After School Company on the Friday before Spring Break, otherwise known as March 16th.

Also, apologies for the fact the table has no lines. Like I said, work in progress...but we are getting there!
