Welcome back from summer! This year promises to hold some excitement for our vocal music department. We will maintain our regular 5th hour Chamber choir and the Tuesday/Thursday, before school Madrigals. We have already been asked to sing for our Founders' Day celebration on Sept. 2nd, and we will be singing the National Anthem and, for the first time since I've been here, the TIS Alma Mater.
Our Fall concert is centered on the theme: European Tour, and it will feature music from England, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands and Ireland. The date of the concert is Monday, Oct. 4th, and the concert will start at 7pm in the US Auditorium.
I am looking forward to a wonderful start to the year, and I cannot wait to get started!
