Upper School

Welcome to the Upper School!

Here at The Independent School, we provide an exceptional college preparatory curriculum featuring Honors and Advanced Placement courses, along with a variety of unique electives that highlight the individual and collective strengths of our outstanding faculty. Our strong academic focus is balanced with a thriving Fine Arts program, an abundance of highly competitive athletic teams, and a comprehensive array of student clubs and activities. Purposefully, students in the Upper School at TIS find no shortage of opportunities to play, participate, and lead.

Our College Counseling program complements this academic success by helping students find a school that is the “right fit,” and assists in securing financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
