Community

There are a multitude of opportunities for our community of students, parents, and faculty to become involved.

The Independent School’s 20 acre campus provides an accepting community where everyone knows each other by name or by sight and enjoys a sense of belonging in a secure and safe atmosphere. We encourage family participation.  Our community is an integral aspect of The Independent School experience as parents, students and the school work together collectively to maintain a standard of excellence for every child. Parents are encouraged to be actively engaged in the school, whether via volunteering for the Parent's Association, becoming a member of the Booster Club, or the Friends of the Fine Arts.  Community members are welcomed to attend division assemblies, performances and athletic games or support our academic excellence through giving. Many levels of involvement are available.
