Middle School Scholars’ Bowl
Beginning in Middle School, students participate in the quizzical, curious, perplexing, inquiry of the mind in this academic mental modus operandi. Our Middle School Scholars’ Bowl team has earned Central Plains Middle School League Championship title and /or Runner up in 7th and 8th grade levels since 2005.
2010-2011 Highlights
This year, the team won 3rd Place in both the East Tournament and the Tournament of Champions at Bishop Carroll, two of the toughest tournaments in the city. At Bishop Carroll, they lost only to Maize and to Wichita East. However, the following week they came back to defeat both of these rivals, claiming the championship at Kapaun’s Invitational, defeating not only the 3A State Champions, but the 6A State Champions. The team brought back the Central Plains League Championship for the fourth time in five years. They won invitationals in Chaparral and in Hesston and were Runner-Up Champions at State.
