A man stands on a gravel playground watching two children play on a tire swing against a backdrop of green trees.

Parents on the Playground continued this week with our Kindergarten and first grade families joining students for a little time outside together.

These afternoons are simple by design: parents step into a bit of their child’s school day, kids get the fun of having their grown-ups on the playground, and families have an easy chance to get to know one another. It was a pretty great mix of playing, visiting, snacking, and enjoying the kind of everyday connection that makes Lower School feel like a community.

Next up, second grade parents will join us on the playground Monday!

A collage of photos shows people of various ages playing and socializing at an outdoor playground with blue poles and wooden structures.
