College Counseling
The Independent School's College Counseling program is designed to support and guide students throughout the college selection and application process. We believe in starting early, and that's why we introduce College Counseling in Middle School. Through strategic interactions with our students, we sow the seeds for their future in Upper School.
One of the tools we use to empower our students is Naviance software. It offers a range of features including self-discovery assessments, college search capabilities, admission requirement reviews, and application progress tracking. With Naviance, students can explore their interests, preferences, and potential college matches.

Meet Mrs. Sackett
Meet Sarah Sackett, our new College Counselor. Sarah is an active member of the Great Plains Association for College Admission Counseling and will soon be certified by their national affiliate, the National Association for College Admission Counseling. She is dedicated to helping each student find the right fit for their higher education journey. From college selection to application preparation, Sarah’s caring approach ensures that every student feels supported and confident as they move toward their academic and personal goals.
