Panther Care
Panther Care is The Independent School’s extended day after-school program, providing a safe, supervised, and engaging environment for students once the regular school day ends. Whether you need consistent after-school care or just the occasional drop-in, Panther Care offers flexible options for busy families.

Available for Early Learners through Lower School

Runs from school dismissal until 6:00 PM

Includes outdoor play, crafts, games, and quiet time for homework or reading

Nut-free snacks are provided

Families must pre-register for consistent care or communicate with staff for drop-in needs

Please note: Panther Care is not available on days when school is not in session

From science and technology to cooking and art, students will find exciting after-school opportunities through our Panther Enrichment Program (PEP). These classes are designed to spark curiosity, build new skills, and encourage creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Logistics for Lower School Families:

Students will go directly to their enrichment classes after dismissal

Please send a nut-free snack if your child typically eats one after school

After class, students must be picked up under the bell or be registered for Panther Care to continue care

Reminder: If school is not in session, there will be no after-school enrichment classes
Please note: Students may be grouped with peers from different grade levels during PEP classes.
