Below, you will find a breakdown of tuition-related fees and details about our need-based financial aid program, which is designed to help make an Independent School education accessible to families who qualify.

Understanding This Year’s Financial Aid Timeline

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we want to ensure that every family has the information needed to plan with confidence. This year’s financial aid process follows a clear timeline that aligns closely with ISACS best practices and supports strong enrollment, predictable budgeting, and timely communication for all families.

At TIS, we are committed to making our process transparent, supportive, and family centered.  Below is an overview of key dates and what to expect at each step.

Key Dates and Deadlines

February 2: Priority Financial Aid Application Deadline

Families seeking financial aid should submit their FACTS application by February 2. This is our priority deadline, and it allows for the most complete review as we make awards and send contracts on schedule.

February 2–February 28: Upload Supporting Documents

After submitting the application, families will upload required documents in FACTS, typically including W-2s, 1099s, and the most recent tax return available.

A note about early verification: if you apply by February 2, FACTS allows you to submit the most recent tax return you have available, even if the newest return is not ready yet. FACTS may request additional documents later to finalize your file.

The sooner documents are uploaded, the sooner your application can move through review.

February 16: Enrollment Contracts Sent

Enrollment contracts for new and returning families will be sent on February 16. This timing helps families plan early and gives our school the information needed to build strong class rosters and staffing plans.

Please note: starting this year, contracts are signed annually (not evergreen). We want families to have a clear, positive affirmation of enrollment each year.

February 28: Financial Aid Award Notifications

Families who apply by the February 2 priority deadline will receive their financial aid decisions by February 28. This gives families time to review awards carefully before the contract deadline.

March 1: Second Round Financial Aid Deadline

If you miss the February 2 priority deadline, you may still apply by March 1. Awards during this period are made based on remaining available funds.

March 2: Contract Deadline

Signed enrollment contracts are due by March 2. Meeting this deadline helps us finalize class rosters, staffing plans, and program offerings for the year ahead.

April 1: Final Financial Aid Deadline

The final opportunity to apply for financial aid is April 1. Applications submitted after this date will be reviewed only if funds remain available.
