Proportions and Rates!
Mr. Thornton’s 7th grade math classes are diving into proportions and rates! Last week, students got creative by making up their own rates, graphing those rates on a coordinate plane, and then calculating the corresponding unit rates. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how math connects to real-world situations!
